Joel Mahler

Joel has spent the past 11 years of his life using and learning about computers. His first computer job was phone tech support at a Livermore based Internet Service Provider (GLP Aerie) back in 1996. After nearly a year at the Pleasanton based technology outfit (Pixion, Inc.) as technical support for an online conferencing software, Joel then moved to another Pleasanton based software company (Scientific Software, Inc.) specializing in bio-informantics, where his role as technical support led him deeper into managing high-end and high priority servers.

In his spare time, Joel enjoys sleeping as much as possible, martial arts, autocross driving, playing bass guitar, and working on his growing collection of Toyotas from the 1980's. Joel also has a collection of 8 computers at his home, and over 700 music cds.
